Edu Fiesta at the Al-Istiqamah Mosque was a lively event enjoyed by many families in the neighbourhood CDCs, They came in great numbers and participated enthusiastically, enjoying the many delicious food items and taking part in the interesting activities throughout the day including the DONUT Painting Competition sponsored by the Donut Empire and the Health Talk on Diabetes Management using Traditional Chinese Medicine sponsored by the Science Arts Pte Ltd. Hj Rhazaly Noentil (See left) gave the opening speech to introduce the Health Care segment. Some 200 children participated in the Donut Painting Competition and produced many exciting creations which delighted the judges. (see right)

Dance Theatre Arts, an exciting new addition to the Singapore Dance Scene has established a comprehensive, new classical ballet and high energy dance programs . at the Cairnhill Community Club with a mission to help its students achieve excellence in dance and in all aspects of their life ... be it studies, sports, singing or other performance arts.
Dance Theatre Arts is directed by twin-sisters Melissa and Gwyneth Har. Both sisters are basic products of the “Singapore Dance Education System”, but spent many years finishing their dance training in Australia and the USA
Fourteen years ago, Madam Kartini Abdul Rahman started thinking of ways to encourage her fellow Malay women to exercise more. Many of those women did not exercise because they did not feel comfortable at the thought of wearing sports clothing. Madam Kartini then created kebayarobics.
Today, thanks to Kartini's fervour in promoting this activity, hundreds of ladies, young and old and even teenage boys are participating in this form of exercise to maintain their health and gain fitness, at community centers all over Singapore.

Discovery Golf Tours
Since July 2007 Discovery golf tours have been conducted regular tours to a variety of courses in Surabaya, Sumatra, Bangkok and Phuket. Many of these are fund raising events to raise funds for orphanages and schools in these countries.

13 April 2007. A new law requires will require businesses in Singapore to tag "ADV," for advertisement, on all e-mail and SMS messages they send to people here. This will allow those who do not wish to receive such mails to easily block or automatically direct them to trash bins
Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards.
