|
To facilitate mission trips to Bukit Tinggi, we have established a regular homestay cum clubhouse. New programs include visiting an orphanage that supports itself through farming, a village school whom we are helpin got upgrade and village mosques where we will have discussions with local muslims. Recreational programs may include golfing at the serene but challenging Annai Resorts, Trekking the Marapi or Singalang volcanoes, Traditional dance concerts. Whilst Sumatra has had its fair share of bad news...the Tinggi area remains idyllic, safe and is far away from these concerns. Email Us or read on for more details.

At 930 meters above sea level, Bukit Tinggi, named Fort de Cock by the Dutch in colonial times, the center of the highlands, has a cool equable climate all year round. The landscape formed by 3 major volcanoes, Tandikat, Singgalang and Marapi is magnificent with dramatic volcanic lakes, canyons, rugged cliff faces, and rolling hills often terraced for a rice and vegetable cultivation |
